Day-by-Day Itinerary

Follow your journey across Sri Lanka with our detailed day-by-day itinerary, carefully planned to ensure a smooth and enriching travel experience. Day 01 - Airport – Negombo

Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, we will meet you and transfer you to Negombo.

Day 02 – Negombo - Anuradhapura

Anuradhapura

 The largest and oldest of Sri Lanka’s ancient cities, Anuradhapura, is a fitting climax to any tour of the Cultural Triangle. Arguably, it takes a bit more effort to imagine it as it was more than 2500 years ago, with palaces and huge dagobas standing up to nine stories high, a main processional avenue 24km (16 miles) long, and the richly decorated, ostentatious mansions of nobles and wealthy foreign merchants.

Day 03 -Anuradhapura –Habarana - Safari

Visit the Minneriya National Park

Take a trip on the wild side!! Witness the largest congregation of Asian elephants which is called the “gathering”. The Minneriya tank contributes to sustaining a large herd of elephants. Herds of up to 150-200 elephants could be spotted every evening. Explore this park by a 4×4 safari jeep.

Day 04 – Polonnaruwa –Habarana

The second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms, the ruins of the ancient city stand on the east shore of a large artificial lake the Parakrama Samudra (the Sea of Parakrama), created by King Parakramabahu I (1153-86), whose reign was Polonnaruwa’s golden age.

Day 05 – Sigiriya - Village Ride – Spice Garden - Kandy

Climb the Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was built by King Kassapa in the 05th century A.D. which was a Royal Citadel for more than 18 years.  The Lion Rock is a citadel of unusual beauty, rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. The base of the rock is ringed by a moat and rampart and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens. The majestic Lion’s Paw picturesquely guards the stairway of the palace on the summit. See the famous frescoes of the “Heavenly Maidens” of Sigiriya in a sheltered pocket of the rock and the 10-foot-high Mirror Wall.

Village Ride & Village Lunch

Explore the Village of Sigiriya by Bullock cart Ride, then get on to a Canoe, A nature trail through an isolated tank getting on to a traditional canoe of a villager passing through the lake full of water Lillie, Lotus flowers and very rare water birds and getting into his plantation called a CHENA . Also you can enjoy Truly Sri Lankan Village meal at his simple village house.

A visit to one of Sri Lanka’s spice gardens would explain all. The allure of spices, and the wealth they generated, first drove Western merchants to brave the unknown oceans in search of profits.

Day 06 – Kandy – Ella

Tooth Relic Temple

The Temple of Tooth Relic – The Sri Dalada Maligawa or The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a temple in the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka.  It was built within the royal palace complex which houses one of the two surviving relics of the tooth of Buddha, an object of veneration for Buddhists.

Day 07 – Ella

Ella is blessed with some of the most beautiful views, you could find in Sri Lanka.  This small town is used as a base for plenty of trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside. 

Day 08 – Ella - Yala

Yala National Park or Ruhuna National Park

The second largest and most beloved national park in Sri Lanka. Major attraction is the Sri Lankan Leopard, Panthera Pardus Kotiya, The Sri Lanka’s top predator, Yala is one of the highest leopard densities in the world and the number of mammals that has been recorded from the park is 44, you could also easily spot the majestic tuckers, Sloth bears and countless number of birds.

Day 09 – Yala - Galle

Galle Fort

Galle fort was built first by the Portuguese, and then modified by the Dutch during the 17th century. Even today, after 400 years of existence, it looks new and polished with reconstruction work done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka. Today Sri Lankan government and many Dutch people who still own some of the properties inside the fort are looking at making this one of the modern wonders of the world.

Day 10 – Galle

Enjoy a relaxing day at your own pace. Unwind on the beach, explore nearby areas, or simply relax at your hotel.

Day 11– Galle

Spend another day at leisure enjoying the coastal atmosphere, optional activities, or simply relaxing before your departure.

Day 12 – Galle - Airport

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure, carrying unforgettable memories of your Sri Lanka journey.
